Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to feel completely assured when furnishing your home with B&C Furniture. If a piece does not suit your interior layout, our 30-day return policy is simple, transparent, and completely free of charge.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date your furniture parcel is confirmed delivered by the carrier to initiate a return.
2. Eligible Return Condition
- Items must be in brand-new, completely unused condition.
- Flat-pack furniture must remain unassembled and uninstalled.
- Goods must be securely repacked in their original factory protective cartons, complete with all hardware packs, fittings, protective foam, and assembly manuals.
3. How to Use Your Prepaid Return Label (Step-by-Step Mail Return)
To eliminate return hassles, a pre-printed, prepaid return shipping label is already enclosed inside your delivery parcel. There are no fees for return carriage or restocking.
- Repack the Item: Place the brand-new, unused item back into its original packaging with all protective padding and parts.
- Affix the Prepaid Label: Seal the carton firmly with packing tape. Peel and adhere the included prepaid return shipping label clearly onto the flat exterior of the box, ensuring it completely covers or replaces the original delivery label.
- Drop Off at Carrier Station: Take your package to the nearest post office or designated courier parcel drop-off point stated on the label. Always request a receipt or proof of postage for your records.
- Return Postage Cost: £0.00 (Completely Free).
- Restocking Fees: Zero / No Cost (£0.00).
- Return Route: By mail only.
4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items Received
We take quality control seriously, but unexpected transit mishaps can occur. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if an incorrect model was sent:
- Notification Period: Please inspect your parcel upon delivery and notify our customer team within 48 hours of receipt (or at the latest within 7 days of delivery).
- What to Provide: Email us at support@bcfurniturewigan.co.uk with your Order Number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the transit damage, defect, or wrong product label.
- Resolution Guarantee: We will inspect the case promptly. At no additional expense to you, we will immediately arrange a free replacement part, a full replacement order, or issue a 100% full refund including all costs incurred. You will never be charged return postage for transit-damaged or incorrectly supplied items.
5. Refund Inspection & Settlement
- Depot Inspection: Once your return arrives at our Wigan depot, our staff will inspect the item within 3 business days.
- Payment Reversal: Upon approval, your refund will be automatically transferred back to your original payment card (Visa or Mastercard).
- Settlement Currency: Processed in British Pounds (GBP / £). Depending on your bank or card issuer, please allow standard banking clearing time for funds to reflect in your statement.
